I had the pleasure of attending several nurse coaching sessions with Mrs. Hill. We covered stress management and relaxation, healthy eating and exercise goals, among other techniques to improve my quality of life. We set goals at each session and went over the goals at our next session. I learned about healthy snacks and portions. I learned how to set reasonable exercise goals, I learned how to use relaxation techniques to calm down and re-focus to attain peace. My favorite was the relaxation techniques Mrs. Hill taught me breathing exercises and how to focus and relax. We used relaxation, calm music and sounds to focus and relax. In our coaching sessions she taught me how to change negative thinking into positive thoughts, by changing my thought process. The calmness and peace that comes with being able to use these techniques, is amazing. I still use the techniques she taught me. All during the day, when I feel stressed or overwhelmed, I remember how Mrs. Hill taught me to use the relaxation and breathing exercises to calm down. I still use all that we covered in our coaching sessions. Now when I am working, instead of being so quick to get frustrated, I stop, breath, turn on my relaxation music and calm down. Even when I cannot get out to exercise, I use the exercises she taught me that I can do at home. I have added more fruits and vegetables to my diet, as well as the healthy smoothies she gave me recipes to make. Thank you Mrs. Hill for giving me the tools I needed to enhance my quality of life. I have tools now that I can use for the rest of my life. When you learn something that works, you have it for a lifetime.

I enjoyed and learned so much from you in each session. One of the things I enjoyed was the mediation and relaxation session, doing that you taught me how to breathe properly. You also taught me that when I wasn’t able to exercise that there are other ways of incorporating physical activity that was catered specifically to me. I was a women looking to putting closure on some things in life and a release from so much pressure that life holds just being a wife, sibling, mother, grandmother and minister. Investing in one on one coaching has released me to be me. To realize that I can't change people or the world but I am free to be me and happy with who I am. I learned how to stop and meditate when pressures come. I really learned that it's okay to say NO and not feel bad about it. I am a happier person with a new perspective on life.
